Carbonara.

Winter's here.. and this is the time, Eisen and myself crave for some good ole creamy pasta. I whipped up this simple dinner myself a few days ago.



Carbonara Sauce:
2 cloves of chopped garlic
150g of button mushrooms - sliced
5 slices of shoulder bacon (the non-fatty part)
Handful of Chives
200ml of thickened cream
150g of shredded cheese (preferably swiss cheese)

Method:
Heat up 2 tablespoon of butter, add garlic, bacon and then mushroon and pan-fry till cooked.
Next, add in cream and cheese, lower heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add chives, stir through and serve hot.
